We are currently looking for "Packaging Design Engineer" based in Bursa.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Engineering, Supply Chain, or a related field,
- Min 5 years experience in packaging design (preferably in automotive industry),
- Using at least two different design programs, preferably Autodesk Inventor & Autodesk Autocad,
- Preferably to have familiarity with smart warehouse systems (ASRS, AMR, AGV, robotics, etc.) in logistics,
- Project management skills,
- Knowledge of transport (sea, air, train, and truck) and its regulation,
- Knowledge of SAP modules and related optimization programs & tools,
- Knowledge of production technologies. For example; hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical, automation,
- A strategic mindset to drive effective and sustainable solutions,
- Strong planning and organizational skills,
- Adaptability and flexibility,
- Strong business partnership and interpersonal skills,
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced business environment,
- Very good command of English,

JOB DESCRIPTION
- Manage packaging/trolley design activities by balancing price & sustainable quality,
- Manage returnable packaging/trolley investment projects and packaging loops,
- Definition and deployment of all packaging standards throughout the plants,
- Support Logistics RFQ preparation process to contribute global competitiveness of company,
- Preparing packaging forecasts in any future RFQ study for the Group, considering customer expectations and company profitability,
- Reviewing packaging and trolleys and evaluating improvement opportunities according to customer and supplier feedback,
- Coordination & Collaboration with Plant Logistics,
- Designing gravity racks and calculating space requirements accordingly,
- Coordinating and leading line feeding methods,
- Design, order, and launch of final product boxes, jis trays to be sent to the customer,
- Design, order, and launch logistics feeding racks, transport trolleys, and material feeding trolleys in production areas,
- Design, order and launch low-cost automation applications. Finding new ( LCA ) opportunities,
- Designing and ordering non-recyclable packaging for prototypes and pre-series products to be sent to the customer,
- In close relation with the internal partners, setting up support plans for the focus plants to improve their level of adherence to “standards”.
