QUALIFICATIONS

 

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering , Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field.

• Min 6 years experience in domestic and international project transportation ( Oversized and heavy cargo transportation. )

• 3+ years of experience in logistics, , purchasing, or supply chain management within the automotive industry, preferably.

• Have an experience on SAP-SRM/MM module,

• Fluent in English, both written and spoken,

• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office tools with expertise in Excel,

• Excellent negotiation skills with a proven track record of securing favorable terms with suppliers.

• Experience in transportation organizations all the world and all transport modes.

• Disciplined, flexibility and prone to teamwork.

• Strong coordination, communication and human relations skills.

• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced business environment,

• No travel restrictions.

 

JOB DESCRIPTION

 

• Manage the logistic Purchasing activities with the stakeholders by making all the necessary arrangements for the delivery of all materials ,machines , tools and equipments purchased within the MFI organization to the relevant locations and suppliers.

• Working in collaboration with the Logistic , TM , Purchasing and Project departments.

• By examining transportation requests (deciding on the transportation mode and vehicle type in special project-based cases), researching the need in the market, finding the right supplier and price in terms of service quality, validating service purchases, and organizing them with internal departments

• To prepare the annual transport purchasing budget. • Organise the yearly tender activities for contracted purchase process.

• Cooperation with SAP/ SRM – MM module developer and support digitalization activities.

• To follow the whole process closely in order to deliver the organized transportation requests to the relevant location without any problems,

• Vehicle inquiries from contracted / spot companies for loads that can be transported by mega trucks and containers , airfreight etc.

• To follow up the transportation operation processes and to resolve any possible problems with the related parties (shippers, suppliers, customers, holding production units, warehouses, etc.)

• To follow up the criticalities that may occur on the route and to inform the superiors and relevant units when necessary,

• Controlling the transportation budget and reporting KPI regularly. • Work Flow Management.
