We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Logistic Purchasing Senior Specialist to join our team in the automotive sector. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in logistics, supply chain management, and purchasing, with experience working in the fast-paced automotive industry. This role will be pivotal in ensuring smooth procurement and timely delivery of parts, components, and materials needed for automotive production.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Graduated from Industrial, Mechanical Engineering, or relevant engineering departments of universities.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in the relevant field within the automotive sector.
• Proficient in Assembly Lines, Assembly Machines, Line Balancing, Workforce Calculation, Capacity Calculation, and preferably knowledgeable in automation.
• Fluent in English.
• No travel restrictions (Domestic and International).
• Familiar with FMEA, PPAP, and APQP processes.
• Knowledgeable in Modern Improvement Techniques.
• Team-oriented, strong communication skills, customer-focused.
• Possesses planning and organizational abilities.
• Strong problem-solving skills, analytical thinking, and result-oriented.
• Residing or willing to reside in Kocaeli.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

• Actively participating in Assembly Line-Machine-Equipment and automation investments (Feasibility, comparison, selection, commissioning).
• Planning and managing Process-Product Development activities.
• Engaging in continuous improvement activities concerning labor, capacity, material, quality, and cost through a Lean Manufacturing perspective.
• Being responsible for all layout studies related to the production area of the project.
• Preparing and updating operational cards, manufacturing synoptics, machine operation, and adjustment cards used in processes.
• Conducting process time analyses.
• Performing line balance calculations based on forecasted/actual quantities and sharing them with the production department.
• Conducting capacity analyses and determining new investment needs.
• Actively participating in resolving quality problems caused by processes and ensuring improvements (e.g., adding poka-yoke, traceability studies).
• Leading P-FMEA activities by bringing together a multifunctional P-FMEA team and keeping the document active.
• Taking part in Industry 4.0 activities.
• Carrying out benchmarking, standardization, and dissemination efforts.
• Participating in method creation and development studies for new products and new projects.
