We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Logistic Purchasing Senior Specialist to join our team in the automotive sector. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in logistics, supply chain management, and purchasing, with experience working in the fast-paced automotive industry. This role will be pivotal in ensuring smooth procurement and timely delivery of parts, components, and materials needed for automotive production.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Graduated from Mechanical, Materials Metallurgy or Mechatronics Engineering departments of universities,
• Speaks English well,
• Prone to teamwork, strong communication skills, creative and able to take initiative,
• Proactive, open to continuous learning, result-oriented,
• Developed communication, leadership and coordination skills,
• Able to create business plans and goals, time-oriented,
• For male candidates, completed military service,
• Have at least a Class B driver's license and can actively drive,
• Have no obstacles to domestic and international travel,
• Candidates who reside/can reside in Kocaeli are sought.

JOB DESCRIPTION

• To ensure that the number of products foreseen in the production programs are realized at the lowest cost, with the highest quality and at the desired time in accordance with the specifications determined in the production and technical specifications,
• To realize the production at the lowest cost, with the highest quality and at the desired time in accordance with the production standards in order to meet the production programs on time in the area given to its responsibility within the production unit,
• To ensure that the changes made on the product and the newly put into service parts are put into service on time by working in coordination with the product engineering in order to meet the change requests,
• To ensure the continuous improvement and continuity of the product and production process quality, costs and reliability; to disseminate quality methods and tools in the basic production team and ensure their correct use, to take preventive measures by working in cooperation with the relevant units in order to eliminate the problems that arise,
• To ensure the appropriate distribution of human resources in the basic production team, the optimization of facilities, equipment and layout in order to ensure that the production programs are carried out in the required quantity, on time and with the required qualities,
• To undertake different duties and responsibilities given by the manager when necessary within the department or organization, to participate in projects, to make suggestions or to produce solutions.
