About the position:
The role involves managing projects in Algeria; however, it does not require full-time residence in the country. The position can be based at one of our company’s locations, with frequent travel to Algeria throughout the project duration.

 

Qualifications:
•    Minimum 7 years of international project management experience in the automotive industry.
•    Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Industrial/Mechanical Engineering.
•    Strong analytical thinking and data analysis skills.
•    Ability to make informed, timely, and effective decisions.
•    Effective time management skills.
•    Demonstrates a good level of adaptability.
•    Ability to balance multiple tasks and projects.
•    Proactive, rigorous, and structured.
•    Emotional stability and tenacity.
•    Excellent negotiation, result-oriented, teamwork, managerial, and leadership skills.
•    Strong communication skills (oral and written) with the ability to interact at all organizational levels.
•    Fluency in English and Arabic.
•    No restrictions on travel within or outside the country.

 

Duties and responsibilities:
The Project Manager will be responsible for all aspects of the allocated projects by ensuring the achievement of the project’s objectives and customer satisfaction in accordance with company standards, methodologies, guidelines, and best practices.


•    Ensure detailed project planning and construction; develop the execution of tasks in relation to project team members and forecasted outputs for each phase.
•    Oversee the project in all key activities, including identifying and proactively piloting tasks, monitoring project objectives, and ensuring product/process readiness versus OEM targets for each phase.
•    Set up standard tools and methodologies to be applied during project development.
•    Ensure product conformity and manage technical/economic change requests according to customer requirements.
•    Maintain internal and external customer satisfaction through open and proactive communication.
•    Support the commercial team in preparing offers.
•    Coordinate and act as the interface between the project team, plant, and production teams to ensure product and process readiness at each milestone.
•    Continuously reinforce team spirit through the right behaviors and attitudes to achieve common goals.
•    Proactively manage risks and opportunities related to technical, quality, and financial aspects.
•    Implement action plans on relevant topics and ensure all open issues are resolved on time.
•    Track all internal and external milestones during project execution, ensuring on-time delivery.
•    Organize and manage regular project meetings to resolve issues and release regular reports to management.
•    Escalate critical information to management in a timely manner to facilitate decision-making.
