QUALIFICATIONS

 

  • Graduated from the Engineering departments of universities,
  • Experienced in plastic raw material and chemical purchasing processes,
  • Fluent in English,
  • Able to use MS Office applications effectively,
  • Having knowledge of SAP,
  • Prone to team work,
  • Having strong negotiation and communication skills,
  • Having an analytical mindset and being goal-oriented.
  • No travel restrictions.

 

JOB DESCRIPTION

 

  • Regularly conducting demand and supply market analysis for the categories under responsibility, creating purchasing strategies and preparing and implementing relevant action plans,
  • Carrying out purchasing processes in line with strategic purchasing principles in all purchasing categories, especially the relevant category,
  • Ensuring the coordination of purchasing / supply transactions regarding the relevant category in all countries,
  • Conducting category-based expenditure analyzes periodically and reporting them to managers,
  • Researching purchasing opportunities to create cost and quality advantages and creating suggestions,
  • Leading the negotiation and selection of suppliers on behalf of group operations,
  • Managing the definition, measurement and development of category-based performance reports and ensuring their compliance with policies and procedures,
  • Managing all purchasing processes related to the category,
  • Managing risks in the purchasing process and finding alternative solutions in the relevant purchasing category,
  • Creating and developing the supplier portfolio. Managing the optimization of the approved supplier list,
  • Conducting supplier consolidation and expenditure analysis to increase efficiency in the relevant purchasing category,
  • Experienced in rubber, painted and chrome plated plastic parts,
  • Directing business units within the scope of product development and service to be provided,
  • Conducting trend, technical and market analysis of economic data and the main raw materials within the scope and following the market
