Qualifications :
- Master’s degree in Logistics, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or equivalent.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar position in an industrial environment (automotive.).
- Solid understanding of Lean and Six Sigma principles applied to logistics.
- Proficient in ERP systems (e.g., SAP) and advanced Excel skills.
- Fluent in both English / French.
Main Responsibilities :
- Define and implement internal logistics flows for components, semi-finished and finished goods across production and warehouse areas.
- Design, optimize, and regularly update logistics layouts (material routes, supermarket zones, tugger paths, staging areas) aligned with industrial and safety constraints.
- Lead the definition and validation of packaging concepts (standard/custom) for inbound and internal flows, balancing cost, protection, ergonomics, space optimization, and sustainability.
- Manage and update material master data related to logistics parameters (e.g., packaging codes, routing rules, container dimensions).
- Conduct flow simulations and capacity studies to validate design assumptions and anticipate future constraints.
- Collaborate with procurement, production, quality, and engineering teams to ensure logistics feasibility and alignment with product requirements.
- Support production line readiness by defining tugger train loops, FIFO lanes, operator delivery points, and replenishment frequencies.
- Contribute to the digitalization of logistics operations (e.g., e-kanban, MES integration, real-time material tracking).
- Lead root cause analysis and corrective actions for logistics-related issues (e.g., mis deliveries, wrong packaging, inventory discrepancies).
- Ensure robustness of logistics processes, including error-proofing and standardization of internal logistics tasks.
- Benchmark and introduce best practices and innovations in logistics methods from other plants or industries.
- Monitor, analyze, and report on KPIs related to logistics efficiency, space utilization, packaging performance, and inventory accuracy.
